What types of dice do you offer?
I produce two distinct types of trick dice:
1. Hidden Insert Dice (18mm)
These contain internal gimmicks such as weights, magnets, or hollow spaces.
2. Mis-Spotted Dice (typically 16mm)
These have altered pip patterns and can be customised more flexibly.
Can you make custom dice to my specifications?
Up to a point.
- Hidden insert dice (18mm):
These are highly specialised and cannot be customised in size or design beyond the existing range. - Mis-spotted dice:
These offer much more flexibility. I can often adjust:- Pip layouts
- Colours
- Sizes (within limits)

Can you make different sizes?
Hidden Insert Dice (18mm)
No—these are only available in 18mm (3/4″) with slightly rounded edges.
This size has been carefully chosen to:
- Ensure the internal gimmicks work effectively
- Maintain structural strength (minimum resin thickness)
- Provide natural rolling behaviour
Due to the complexity and cost of the moulding system, producing other sizes is not practical.
Mis-Spotted Dice
Yes—there is some flexibility here.
From stock:
- 16mm, rounded edges, white with black pips
Custom sizes available:
- 18mm (sharp edges)
- 22mm (rounded edges)
- 30mm (rounded edges)
(Note: 30mm is now the largest available size.)
Can you make different colours?
Hidden Insert Dice (18mm)
Standard colours:
- White
- Red
Custom colours are technically possible but require:
- A minimum order of 64 dice
- Approximately 2 months lead time
- Around £20 per die (lower per-unit cost for larger orders)
This is due to the need for dedicated moulds and equipment to avoid colour contamination.
Mis-Spotted Dice
Much more flexible.
From stock:
- White dice with black pips (3 each)
Custom colours available:
- Black, red, blue, green, purple, orange. Choice of pip colour (white or gold recommended). £5 – £10 each, depending on size)
